Olivia is a senior majoring in Hospitality Management. Ever since she joined Axis, she has felt inspired by Ayrton’s story and THON’s mission. Olivia’s favorite THON memory was getting to spend time with the Calvanelli family in the stands at THON 2023!
Billy DeMarco

Billy is a junior studying Kinesiology with a minor in Spanish. He first joined Axis the beginning of his freshman year after hearing about it through family who attended Penn State. He instantly knew this org was the right for him due to how close everyone was and how it felt like a family. His favorite THON memory is getting to go down on the floor to support Axis’ dancers!

Zach is a senior majoring in geoscience with a minor in petrology. He joined his sophomore year when a friend from high school recommended it. He is excited for this year and hopes to bring the family and members closer than ever before. He enjoys hanging out with the Calvanelli family and can’t wait for THON weekend.

Dan is a sophomore studying materials science and engineering. He has been a part of Axis since his freshman year! His favorite memory so far is the THON 2023 pep rally. This year he hopes to surpass our fundraising goals and to be even closer with the Calvanelli family.

Abby is a sophomore majoring in broadcast journalism. She joined Axis when she was a freshman and immediately fell in love with the family we have created! Her favorite memory so far is getting pied during our Pie-A-Chair fundraiser. This year she hopes to stand at THON in support of the dancers and get a chance to visit the floor.

Justin is a senior majoring in Hospitality Management. He joined Axis at the beginning of his junior year after transferring from Penn State Brandywine. He admires how friendly and close Axis is and he has made many great friends since joining! Justin’s favorite memory was hanging out with everyone in the middle of the night during THON 2023 weekend.

Billy is currently a sophomore majoring in environmental systems engineering. He joined Axis his freshman year after his sister encouraged him to join! Billy’s favorite memory is standing at the final four and listening to the families’ stories. This year he hopes to work with members and chairs on a variety of fundraisers to make as much money as possible for THON.

Ashley is a junior majoring in marketing with a minor in human development and family studies. She joined Axis her freshman year and it has been her favorite thing since! This year she hopes to reinforce the culture that makes Axis so amazing and support Axis to be the best we can be. Her favorite memory is all of THON weekend. Ashley believes it is a surreal experience that allows you to bond with everyone in a way you wouldn’t think possible.

Natalie is a sophomore majoring in psychology. She joined Axis during her freshman year after her brother recommended it. She immediately fell in love and brought all her friends along! Natalie loves the close-knit environment Axis fosters. She has made many great friends during her time at Axis. Her favorite memory is visiting the Calvanelli family and hanging out with Ayrton and Declan. She can’t wait to see what this year brings!

Gavin is a senior majoring in electrical engineering. He joined Axis his junior year! This year he hopes to surpass our fundraising total from last year, and hopefully raise more than $50k. His favorite memory from THON so far is doing the line dance in the stands with all of the members of Axis.
